Outlook will not save any preferences. I cannot change the font for new emails, I cannot permanently change view preferences, I cannot turn on BCC for all new emails.
Any font changes (Preferences - Fonts) do not register. After changing the view preferences and navigating to another folder, they revert back to the default settings every time. Why do I have to click the options tab at the top of a new email to add the BCC option. Is there a way to turn this on permanently? Outlook no longer crashes every 12-15 minutes after uninstalling and reinstalling a few times, however, at one point since I've 'upgraded' I used the following to delete preferences from Outlook 2011 (Found on petersopinion). Open Terminal (click the Spotlight search glass in the top right corner and type terminal). Type: defaults delete com.microsoft.Outlook (to delete the old preferences).
Microsoft Outlook Express 5.0.6 (Mac abandonware from 2002) To date, Macintosh Repository served 615206 old Mac files, totaling more than 102998GB!
Type: killall cfprefsd (to kill the cached prefs). Launch Outlook Did this Peter character ruin Outlook for me permanently?
What can I do to make any preference changes stick? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
19 years ago Using build 2000-09-26 on Mac the Mac Outlook Express5 mail and address book are not recognized by our Import utility and do not show up on the Import list. Have and Outlook Express 5 app on your mac with mail setup and address book 2.
Launch Seamonkey 3. Select Import from the Tasks Tools Import Utility 4. Select Mail radio button, Click Next Result: because I also have Eudora on my sytem I see Eudora listed as available for import. I do not see Outlook Express 5.
Expected: to see both Eudora and Outlook Express 5 listed for selection of importing. Also a problem with Outlook Express 5 address book.
